Awesome little Mexican joint. Great margaritas and service.
This place has an amazing ambiance and seating area. They've a lovely staff and the vibe here is super fun! We went there for lunch but I am sure dinner time will be even better as they've a great place to sit very close to the coast. The food is amazing as well and has options for vegetarians too
Our vacation rental was located next door to Tortuga and we pulled in about an hour before closing. They were friendly and accommodating. We ordered several margaritas and food dishes. The service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty and flavorful. It was a bit "Americanized" to see peas, carrots and corn in the rice, but it tasted good. Unfortunately they are closed Monday and Tuesday so we didn't get another chance to try anything else but we would probably order again, given the opportunity. Maybe next trip
Our server provided exceptional service, exemplifying politeness, friendliness, and professionalism. The cuisine was exquisite, with the carne asada being a highlight, boasting immense flavor and perfectly grilled jalapeno. We are already planning a return visit.
Went here for my fiance's 50th birthday. I wanted to surprise him with with a candle in some cheese cake but I forgot the candle. The staff went above and beyond to find a candle, stall the check and came out singing happy birthday to him. It was amazing! The food was pretty great too! The restaurant is super cute and had outdoor seating and live music. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.
As I entered this restaurant, I met the amazing kitchen staff and was able to connect with them speaking Spanish, which, gave me reassurance that the food would be of high quality. The servers and restaurant manager were very welcoming and friendly. The salsas and chips were a perfect start. The horchata was sweet and tasty. But the main enjoyment was the carne asada plate. The description does not do justice to how amazing this dish is. The flavors were all great. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will make sure to stop by again if possible. If you are in town, this place will not let you down!
Shout out to the rockstars running the show, there were literally 3 people to host, clean, take orders, make drinks, and put up with the rude inconsiderate tourist. Place was packed, food and drinks are good, customer service is friendly. Takes one brain cell to figure out 3 people running the show and over 20 guests, it’s going to take a little while to get your food but this did not stop inconsiderate fools from harassing the wait staff. All three workers were amazing, foods good and drinks are good Would love to eat here again but hopefully away from tourists with little respect/humanity.
Large outdoor area with plenty of shade to relax and listen to the wind in the trees. The food was good. Dog friendly. It was a great place to stop for lunch and decompress.
